Our vision is a future where African youths have the tools to be employed, create jobs, and thrive in a rapidly changing world - right out of high school.
High School is the last form of schooling that majority (~90%) of Africa's youth will receive before entering the workforce.
Our mission is to reimagine this education to ensure the majority of our young people can enter the workforce with skills and competencies to unlock their full potential.
The Urgency of Now.
With Africa’s massive youth unemployment crisis today (about half of our young people are unemployed), coupled with the uncertainty of jobs in the future, our students must be fully ready to create new jobs now and have the skills to navigate the world of work today and in the future.
O ur young people will inherit a world that is so different from what it is today. Driven by technology, globalization, climate change, pandemics, etc., our world is changing rapidly and in unprecedented ways. These changes are forcing us to rethink/reimagine everything around us.
Known to all. It is an open secret that schools, as we know them today, are ill-equipped, underfunded, poorly led, etc., to deliver an education that prepares our young people for the world of work today and in the future. Africa’s future cannot rest on the current state of our schools. We must take risks and innovate at scale.
A practical, holistic education that trains our students to become systems thinkers with strong analytical reasoning skills and provides them the tools to enter the workforce, create jobs, and to thrive in a rapidly changing world – right out of high school.
Delivering a Transformative Education
Our Pedagogy is rooted in hands-on learning. From project/problem-based learning tools, to a flipped classroom model, vocational and digital skills, etc., students are the center of our learning model.
